Captain Magic

GET TO KNOW ME

My name is Marisa Capitao, but in the MTG community, I'm known as Captain Magic. I started as an alterist and illustrator in 2019, specializing in detailed card alterations, custom fan art, and foil work.

Alongside my art, I’m a teacher and freelance instructor in Photoshop, Illustrator, and creative design, working with universities, individuals, and MTG tournament organizers. This year, I launched my first digital token collection, which I’ve been crafting by hand (no AI here) since 2021.

In 2022, I placed 3rd globally among professional alterists, and I lead the "Professional MTG Alters Resource & Community" group. Bring something unique to your collection with my custom alterations and tokens!
